At the annual CEE Deals of the Year Banquet held on 27 May 2026 in Bucharest, Komnenic & Partners was named winner of the CEE Legal Matters 2025 Deal of the Year Award for Montenegro – an annual celebration of the deals that shape Central and Eastern European markets and the lawyers and law firms that brought them into being.

This transaction sets a benchmark for large-scale foreign investment in Montenegro’s financial sector and highlights the increasing sophistication and maturity of the country’s banking and capital markets framework.

The winners were selected by two rounds of Selection Committees consisting of senior law firm Partners and in-house counsel from across CEE.
