Montenegro takes a significant step towards renewable energy as the agreement for connecting a 385 MW solar power plant to the transmission system was signed in Podgorica between the Montenegrin Transmission System Operator (CGES) and MEnergy, company based in Cetinje.
The project, located in area of Cevo valued at around 300 million euros, marks a significant milestone in the country's energy transition.
As legal advisors, we are proud to have supported our client, MEnergy, in setting up the project and facilitating the necessary permits.
The plant, expected to be operational by 2027, will contribute to the region's sustainable future and further strengthen Montenegro's commitment to renewable energy.
