Jelena Rešetar is a legal trainee at Komnenić & Partners, currently pursuing a master’s degree in International and European Law at the University of Donja Gorica, further deepening her expertise in cross-border legal frameworks and regulatory matters.
Before joining the firm, she gained valuable professional experience at Erste Bank AD Podgorica, where she worked first as an intern and later as an assistant in the Department for Secretary Affairs and Compliance Monitoring. Her responsibilities included preparing board sessions, drafting bilingual decisions, managing regulatory documentation, and coordinating submissions to the Central Bank of Montenegro.
Jelena has actively participated in numerous legal training programs, including the Youth Speak Forum (AIESEC), EU Law School, the European Convention and Court of Human Rights course, and the Academy on Consumer Rights. She was also engaged in legal clinics focused on providing assistance to victims of domestic violence and gained practical court observation experience at the Basic Court in Podgorica.
She is fluent in English, has basic proficiency in German, and is proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other digital tools. She holds a category B driver’s license. Her participation in the Work and Travel Program further enhanced her intercultural communication skills and adaptability in diverse professional settings.
